Each year we invite our grandparents’ and special friends’ in to enjoy a day in our great school.

Please enjoy our video. We recorded our prize giving song while we were practicing and thought it would be nice to add to our story. Pull up a chair, grab some popcorn and enjoy the happy faces and singing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our performance and were proud of what we managed to do in the time we had and with the support offered.  It was an amazing feat for a group of learners who haven’t had the opportunity to direct their own show before and at the same time maintain the responsibilities to their other learning areas.

The learning and achievements for the students was outstanding. This has become evident in our reading and writing results. To learn, direct and perform a show of this calibre the students needed to understand the language and symbols of the text to engage their audience. This higher order thinking has truly impacted on their achievements.  AWESOME!
